District Office Update re: Martin Court Traffic at Arrival and Dismissal
Dear Martin Avenue Community,
This message is specifically regarding Martin Court, which provides access to the District Office parking lot. U-turns have never been permitted on this street, and despite repeated requests, U-turns continue to occur. This behavior creates serious safety concerns for our students, families, and staff.
To further support the safety and well-being of our students, please see the following Martin Court Update:
Martin Court at Arrival:
- A security guard will soon be stationed at the entrance during arrival.
- Martin Court will be closed to through traffic.
- Only residents and school employees may enter.
- Families accessing Martin Avenue for drop-off are advised to utilize Newbridge Road or Natta Blvd at arrival. Doing so, will eliminate the need for a U-Turn into Martin Court which is prohibited.
Martin Court at Dismissal:
- A security guard will monitor the court during dismissal.
- Parents may park in the school lot until it reaches capacity. Signage will indicate when the lot is closed.
- U-turns and illegal parking on Martin Court are not permitted and will be addressed.
